“The Supreme Court’s ruling today just made our streets and communities more dangerous. While Congress is on the verge of passing a bill to address gun violence by incentivizing and helping states implement safety measures, the Supreme Court recklessly side-stepped those efforts by striking down a 108-year-old law, paving the way for more states to follow suit. This radical, dark money-backed Court continues to show how out-of-touch it is with the reality and dangers Americans face. It’s a disgrace.”
